Beginning March 13, nonprofits serving the greater Oconomowoc area can apply for funding through the Oconomowoc Area Foundation’s 2017 grant program.

The foundation supports organizations whose projects primarily serve residents of the Oconomowoc Area School District, including all of Summit, as well as residents of Wales, Dousman, Ottawa or Nashotah. The deadline to apply is May 19, 2017.

Fred Gutierrez, Senior Program Officer for the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, will lead a presentation on the application process from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Friday, March 31, at the YMCA at Pabst Farms, 1750 Valley Road in Oconomowoc. Attendance at the program, which features tips on preparing strong grant proposals, is encouraged but not mandatory.

To access the grant application and guidelines, navigate to Grants > Grant Seekers > Other Grant Opportunities > Oconomowoc Area Foundation.
