Jean C. Tehan, executive director of the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin, recently accepted two Wilmer Shields Rich Awards for Excellence in Communications from the national Council on Foundations. The awards were presented at the Council on Foundations' Annual Meeting in Seattle, Washington to recognize exceptionally effective communications efforts to increase public awareness of foundations and corporate giving programs. The Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin received a gold award for its quarterly newsletter and a silver award for its website (www.cfoncw.org).
