Scott Blakesley is a partner in the Kansas City, Missouri, law firm of Blackwell Sanders Pepper Martin LLP, where his practice is focused on estate planning, charitable planned giving, advice to exempt organizations, trust administration, estate, gift and generation skipping tax, and tax-related business planning. He serves on the NCPG Board of Directors, was a member of the 1997 NCPG Conference Committee, and is NCPG's Treasurer. He is past president and current director of the Mid-America Planned Giving Council. Blakesley received his JD from the University of Illinois and his BA from Iowa State University.
