William N. Ruud is Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. His responsibilities include acting as the chief development officer and working with donors on major gifts. Ruud has taught college students for over 20 years and prior to his present position he served as dean of the College of Business. He is a frequent speaker to professional and non-professional groups in a variety of capacities and sits on the board of the Southwest Idaho Planned Giving Council. Ruud holds a BS in public and hospital administration from the University of North Dakota, and an MBA and Ph.D. in management from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
