I have been asked to prepare a proposal for a Planned Giving program for an existing 501 C 3. Does anyone have a model business plan/proposal they are willing to share? if so, I can be contacted at dan@danielpmarsh.com Any tax advice in this e-mail, including attachments, may not be used to avoid penalties or promote any tax related matter. Proposal for Planned Giving Program
William Clay Tucker, CRPS, CMFC Woodville Advisory Services, LLC I am also working with a couple of smaller NPO's that want to establish a Planned Giving Program. The information requested by Mr. Marsh would be helpful to me as well. Thank you. Responses to: tuckerwf12@aol.com

Your request for help
Are you looking for an outline of a "schedule of work" to be performed for the NPO or a contract/MOU-type document containing a pitch to an existing NPO for your services as an advisor/planned giving - development professional?

planned giving program
Hello: I have developed a number of such programs for non-profits. They were all customized to the objectives and size of the charity, the current and targeted donor base, the expertise available to represent the charity in donor discussions and the expertise and resources available to deal with say, a DAF if that will be part of the program or CGAs if that will be part of the program, etc. In summary, the right planned giving program for one charity is the wrong one for another. There are also gift acceptance policies and an investment policy that will have to be written and approved by the board in connection with a planned giving program. I would be happy to work with you on this but in the meantime, I hope the foregoing is of some use. Sincerely, Elizabeth L. Mathieu, Esq, TEP. PS I am in the process of moving to Idaho and my law firm there will not be established until the week of March 22. In the meantime, if you wish to discuss this, I can be reached at my personal email, elmalva@gmail.com THE FORGOING IS NOT TAX ADVICE, SHOULD NOT BE VIEWED OR USED AS TAX ADVICE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
